What They're Saying

Don't be fooled by all the other AAU programs out there.  Playing games all summer especially as a young player isn't going to make you the player you want to be.  The correct drills

and skills must be developed over time if you want to play at the next level. Whatever level that might be for a certain individual.

-Matt Alosa

Work Hard to be the Best !!!

Welcome to the home of the "Granite State Raiders".  The website for all your information on New Hampshire's elite basketball program.  This is the complete player program "Where the Best Players are Made".
Our players learn all aspects of the sport, not
only to become the best player they can be, but to
grow as a young adult.
Producing over 30 scholarship basketball players in the past 20 years, the Raiders Staff would like to help your son or daughter get to that next level.  Through hard work, and
the best teaching, we strive to create an environment of growth.  When the time comes, players are showcased in front of college coaches.  This gives them the opportunity to earn a scholarship or financial aid through their basketball abilities.

Granite State Raiders were started in 1985 by Frank Alosa.  AAU basketball was new to the Granite State and something needed to be done to allow our NH kids to play against the best competition possible.  Basketball season is from November to March, but not according to Coach Alosa.  Players are made in the off season with focused hard work.  The Raiders were established to give dedicated kids a place to work on their game all year.  That first Granite States Raider team went to the AAU National Championship and finished 6th out of 96 teams from across the country.  Nobody thought it was possible.

Over the past 20 years the Granite State Raiders has become a highly respected basketball program not only here in the Granite State but all over the country.  Over 30 scholarship players have come through the Raiders program and countless others who have played some form of post high school basketball.  The Granite State Raiders is "Where the Best Players are Made."
